The game we are going to review today was played less than two weeks ago, at the 28th of november. It was played between Lee Sedol as black and Fan Tingyu as white. It took place as part of the Chinese A-League.
The China Weiqi League, also known as China national team league, is one of the most important tournaments in China. It is similar to professional leagues in other sport games. Small teams of professionals representing a city or a region/province.

International players may also be invited to a team, although each team is limited to a single foreign player. The most notable outsider currently taking part in the weiqi league is the Korean star that plays black in this game, Lee Sedol. He represents Team Guizhou. 
White is Fan Tingyu, one of the Chinese young stars, born in 1996 (making him 18 years old)
