PW[Kang Dongyun]PB[Fan Tingyu]WR[9p]BR[9p]DT[2013-10-25]EV[15th Nogshim Cup]SO[gokifu.com]C[Fan Tingyu was the winner of the 2012 Ing World Championships and is considered a rising star in China.
He is born in 1996 and is only 18 years old.
Kang Dongyun was the winner of the Fujitsu Cup in 2009. He is born in 1989 and is currently 24.
This is the first time that they are playing so this is a very exciting game.
Korea and China are currently rivaling in international tournaments with China slightly ahead in recent results.
Nonetheless Korea has always better results in the NongShim Cup so both countries view this tournament heavily.
Fan currently has a 3 win streak right now, and we will see if Kang is able to stop his streak.
Fan's style is very similar to Lee ChangHo's, plays very solid, proper and strong while Kang Dongyun is known for fighting and causing trouble and excels in difficult and complicated situations.
